Victor IRL

Like most kids nowadays, Victor Cervantes grew up on the internet. There he found a haven of seemingly endless possibilities; a place for expression, exploration, and connection beyond one's physical environment or resources. But for Victor (aka Victor Internet), it was also where his fans first congregated to translate, share, and celebrate his music.

Millions of streams and a stellar debut project later, we catch up with Victor in real life at South Facing Windows and are soon taken on a field trip to where it all began for him: Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. He shares memories of his old stomping grounds, his most recent experiences touring the country and his vision for the future.

I just want to give kids like me a space to make anything, really... I just want to be able to give people the resources and the opportunity to make things without feeling limited.
— VICTOR INTERNET
